Karl Keil (1807-1888) was a German Protestant exegetist (interpreter of the Scriptures). On his part, Franz Delitzsch (1813-1890) wa a Lutheran theologist and professor with Hebrew heritage. Both authors undertook the huge task of commenting on all the verses, books and chapters of the Old Testament. Their work, known as Commentary on the Old Testament, was first published in ten volumes in 1866. This BibleMax module features the part of the work corresponding to their comments on every chapter of the Old Testament. In them, the authors show their great erudition and knowledge about the Bible and its characters. Each commentary about the different chapters of the Old Testament is full of cross-references and notes. BibleMax makes the best use of this feature, since every Bible quote and reference is presented in the form of a hyperlink so, if you want to read the corresponding Bible verse, you only need to put the cursor over it; a pop-up window would appear, showing the text of the verse. Also, if you want to read the verse in context, just click on the hyperlink and the entire chapter will appear in the Bible panel. If you are a cleric, scholar or layperson interested in the study of the Bible, don't miss this BibleMax module. Don't forget to download and install BibleMax software prior to run this or any other module.
